lol. timing belt is optional... you don't need it for the car to run. ;p;

i did mine in about 7 days, with timing belt and clutch job at the same time. Most of that time was waiting for my spider hose, and other miscellaneous parts to be delivered.

I could do the basic motor pull/turbo replacement in 3 days... assuming additional parts wouldn't need to be sourced.

little things add up... banjo bolt washers, stripped bolts, spider hose, o-rings, and good hose clamps.

we should probably talk offline, but at some point I'd like to do:

-K04's/Inlets/install hardware (getting them soon)
-Clutch (also getting it soon)
-Piggies (in the garage)
-Replace Motor and Trans mounts (I'll probably go with 034)
-Replace RMS if necessary
-Check any and all hose clamps
-Delete N249
-Throughly pressure test intake system and vacuum lines


Then I plan on running K03 software + MBC at something safe (~17) until the next big sale on fueling kits (Christmas, im guessing)

Thats alright, from what I understand, ASP offers some sort of upgrade discount for current stage1/2 customers.

Since I can't get a fair offer via ebay on my car, I want to keep it and take it to stg3.....

It's just a medium to sell stuff, nothing special. Yes, many times you can find "deals" on ebay, but most time the market brings the bidding up to the fair market price anyway.

As for K04s, you bring all the tools and Doug and Eric with you, and we'll do it in a weekend. A long weekend. And, I figure after the gas bill and the meals, it'll be cheaper to pay your local mechanic...
