Just for the weekend....

I ordered my porter cable kit (with 2 double sided pads and the quick release adapter required to use those pads, along with a bunch of other stuff. After looking thru all 3 boxes several times, I've concluded that they forgot to send it to me. Im sure that everything will get sorted out, but I'd like to make use of my new stuff this weekend.

I feel like a kid at christmas who got a new video game system, with a bunch of games, but no cables to connect it to the TV :(

My Porter Cable just has the velcro discs to attach the pads. It's about 3 years old now.

The adapter makes swapping pads quick and easy and it also ensures that the pad is always centered.

Seriously, have you checked out any local spots like Touchstone in Smyrna, or even Harbor Frieght? You might get lucky. Touchstone is a auto paint supply store and they carry a lot of the detailing products. Some in bulk size and definitely different tools and attachments.

The adapter actually showed up that saturday morning at 8:30, so I was able to do everything I wanted.
