I live in Marietta, work by Perimeter mall, and my A6 2.7T's ABS and BRAKE lights started to beep today.
My brakes don't make noise, but I guess I need new pads. Probably new rotors, as well.
What indie shop should I take the car to for new pads? And what should I be looking to spend for the two front brakes for just pad change?
Thanks

It could also be the ABS controller, so I would recommending scanning your car with VAGCOM. The more I think about it, the more I would guess its your controller.
but get a scan first.Then try ModuleMaster.com.

And I'm pretty sure this is covered, so I guess it may be best to just go to the dealership?

I can scan it and do the work if you need. I have the tool to bleed them properly. If its the abs controller then that should definitely be covered. The brakes and fluid are a different story.

low fluid would just blink the brake light. not the ABS
as someone else must have mentioned its probably the ABS control module.
I just moved to chamblee.. live in the battery on peach tree... I work for a company that will remain nameless right now.. own my own shop that is temporarily closed since I just moved from jersey and I am a former (as of 3 weeks ago) audi tech and also a former vw tech.
If you would like since you should be local we can meet up and I can do a quick diag.
I fyou happen to need an ABS pump the dealer should cover it if you have a cpo car or an extended warranty.. if not I have means to change them very quickly and can get you a good price on the module...
but lets diag it first.
They're easily cleaned.
Scan, clear codes, clean if it's a sensor error, and see if the code recurs.

So I'm going to check the fluid levels. I've noticed that the lights and sound go off when I drive up a hill and usually then stay on for a while, and shut off while I stay level. What brake fluid would I need to add if its low?
