My wife is selling her GTI and she has 18x8.5 BBS CH +30s. Will these fit with the necessary adapters (5x110 to 5x112)?

I am not crazy about the idea of running adapters but I need tires and the timing is right.

My initial research leads me to believe they won't fit.
