I'm using a Motorala HS 850 Bluetooth with my Blackberry 7290. Not too happy with HS 850. Will the Jabra BT-500 be better (sound quality)?

View Full Version : Jabra BT-500 vs. Motorola HS 850 (Bluetooth) gaijin 12-27-2005, 07:38 AM I'm using a Motorala HS 850 Bluetooth with my Blackberry 7290. Not too happy with HS 850. Will the Jabra BT-500 be better (sound quality)? AVANT S4 KING 12-27-2005, 08:04 AM my dad has the BT 500 I believe. He seems to like it pretty well. I will ask him what he thinks about it. gaijin 12-27-2005, 09:12 AM reception (clarity) and comfort too. The HS 850 (with my Blackberry) has weak sound clarity especially in high noise areas. I can barely hear the other party. Not sure, if its just the Blackberry's pairing or if it's all the same with HS 850 and other cellular phones. The HS 850 is comfortable but I have to use a wired ear bud especially when I'm trackside. AVANT S4 KING 12-27-2005, 09:58 AM "Good audio performance and battery life" it was sent from his blackberry, so he may have been in a meeting or something. If he gives me more info later, ill post it too. *I talked to him about it (he was using the headset) and he said that he had the Moto 900 and didnt like it because the ear piece was too high, so he had to constantly pull it down in order to hear anything, but the Jabra does not do that. He has had several headsets for several phones, so for him to stick with this one must mean its pretty good. You may want to find a local reseller and see if they will let you try it. gaijin 12-27-2005, 11:22 AM SCd_Walter 12-28-2005, 06:59 AM gaijin 12-29-2005, 09:22 AM not sure how it is paired to a Motorala cellular phone. Plus - comfortable and lightweight. Charge hold time is minimal. |
