so I can do some 02, CF testing. I will happily return it saturday and treat you to lunch n' beer n' car talk.

I've been having a couple issues and I need to rule out the ecu as the culprit. I'd like to do this asap before holiday traveling starts.

thx.

If you want to wait until Friday I can yank mine. I will be putting it up on stands for a multi-day DP install (not that is takes that long but I have no single time to devote from start to finsh). I'll be driving the M Roadster over the weekend and the beginning of next week so I don't need the ECU.

If I do need to start it I do have the stock unit to work with; it is just gathering dust.

Hit me up sometime on Friday and I'll swing by. There are quite a few people who are wondering if the issues I'm having are software related.

btw, is your ecu flashed or socketed and if socketed, how new is the file?

thx.

ready to install the DPs. I give it an 85% chance all will be good and I should know by Friday morning.

As for the chip, I purchased it along with a new ECU from AWE just about exactly a year ago if that gives you any indication.

BTW, what issues have you had, can you point me to a thread(s)?

This may be something I would like to look at if possible. I haven't done much with the S4 but I do know a few things about engine controls. At a minimum I would like to see a few responses to changes.

Like I said in the other thread, a stock ECU may shed some light and would be quick to test. I have both here at my house and you are more than welcome to come by and we can try both.

But while on the subject, I am a domestic drinker. It is not about quality; it is all about quantity. ;-)
