Should we try TopSpeed? I do not want to drive all the way back to Calhoun unless they have some decent fans (meaning more than 1).

Still Jan 7?

Original thread is further below.

There are plenty of "local" to atlanta places, I'm DEFINATELY in this time around.

Makes me almost wish my turbos would go............

Well, maybe not yet. I'll just use the 100 octane program more in the future.

Thanks for the lift.

I haven't been to TopSpeed. As between Battleground and the place in Calhoun, I'd pick Calhoun (not just because I want to get back on the Dyno Dynamics with AMS, though that's definitely part of it...)

Anyway, the main reason for wanting to go back to Dyno4mance was the comparison ability, not to mention the type of dyno. I'm not looking for ultimate power numbers; just comparative from a year ago.

However, nothing is set in stone yet anyway and I am open to another place. Heck, I can be in Alpharetta in 15 minutes from Woodstock so no real objections there. But, as noted, there were reasons for mentioning Calhoun though.

FYI, below is the response I just now got from Dyno4mance after sending my message on 11/28/2005:

Hi Steve,

This is Andrew's dad, as Andrew has just gone to the UK for a week and
I'm standing in. Thanks for the enquiry. I remember you making a booking
last year and know that will be fine again this year. I have pencilled
in January 7th for you. Keep in touch on how numbers are going. I should
think it will be around $100 per person/car.

All the best,
Barry

If we have Pie4Foo run his car as a stock baseline, we should be able to get the conversion numbers. Not a "real" comparison to Calhoun, but good enough for me.

If Steve is OK with TopSpeed, I vote we go with that.

The worst that can happen is that I see a healthy increase from last year. ;-) !!!

If in agreement I will cancel at Dyno4mance if someone has confirmed at TopSpeed.

as long as they don't have prior engagements, it won't be a problem and should run ~$55 per person which includes lunch.

This is going to be a hard decision. ;-)
