We had a great turnout for the corral and I believe a good time was had by all. A number of 1st-timers were getting their initial dose of sports car racing-- hope to see you back at Petit LeMans in the fall!
Hopefully the Sunday caravan wasn't too confusing. I camped out at the track Saturday night to hold onto our prime corral location, so I obviously missed the caravan.
The Audi Club Cherokee Chapter is planning to do a Summer Rally this year and that date will be announced shortly. Also, don't forget about the Petit LeMans Corral on Saturday, October 1, and the Barber Motorsports Park Drivers School November 5-6.

I walked around looking for you inbetween races but the only group of Audis I saw had no people around. I must be blind. It was a blast though!

My pictures

but no people were around. I had a great time and will upload my pics later.
Said another way, if you made a right at that back intersection, to head to the back of track/skidpad area, we were immediately on the left.

Looks like that picture is on the "top of the hill" where the vendors were set up, just up the hill from the paddock and what not.
Where you described sounded like it was in the back, by the esses, near the start of the back straight, before the porsche bridge?
If it was the second, no wonder I didn't see you, I didn't go all the way back there. But I figured you'd be on the hill, that's where the porsche and 'vette clubs were.

There was a parking area to the right of the hill top if you were driving in. We were on the far side of the 'hill top' and parking area.
At turn 3 of the esses.
Look at the map. We were at the blue 'C' and the red bus stop at the top end of the vendor area.

Map of Road Atlanta

I borrowed Tom's car and ticket (mine was locked in the car with the keys) so I could go home and get a spare set. Took me about 2 hours to go home & back, made it just in time to catch the beginning of the Speed World Challenge Touring race. After that Tom & I walked down into the paddock and met some of Stasis' crew members. I guess all's well that ends well.

I left right after the race and didn't spot the avant so i thought that you hadn't come back yet. John left before me and i was hoping to hear the remus muffler he has on his car. there was some great races going on. a lot of fighting for positions. hopefully, we'll see you guys later.
