and was wondering if there were any similar types of events in the Atlanta area. I would love the opportunity to drive my A4 on a track!

http://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/807264.phtml</a

Do they give you a decent amount of track time?

Doesn't sound like much until you're actually there doing it. After 30 minutes of hard driving, it's nice to take a break and let the car rest.

If you've not driven Road Atlanta before, or are inexperienced with track driving, they will ask that you start in the touring group (now called C group I think). It's follow the leader (instructor) in groups of 4-6 cars. Then when you come back next time, you can drive by yourself in the B-group.

It's been a while since I've tracked the S4. The last time I was there I still had my H&R coilovers and could rely on predictable understeer to keep things in check. I've got to relearn the car with the Stasis coilovers since I can actually get oversteer now if I try.

You'd be doing yourself a favor if you can get someone to ride with you who's been there before to show you the correct lines. The instructor can only do so much, and you're not behind him all the time.
