How did it go?

Torque: 283 Lb-Ft @3400 RPM
Power: 285 HP @6500 RPM

Scott was mildly impressed with the numbers, indicating that his expectations were lower.

I'm not sure how accurate the dyno really is, but Scott seemed very knowledgeable, so I do have some faith in the estimate.

Assuming a driveline loss of 20%, the engine is producing approximately

Torque: 353 Lb-Ft @3400 RPM
Power: 356 HP @6500 RPM

What are your thoughts on these numbers? I have hyperflow & milltek catback.

to stock form and head back to the dyno, so I can absolutely justify my recent spending spree on mods.

I got to get it home :)
If not I got a S4 :))

Nearly identical tq peak, but 15+HP over mine... That's pretty damn good!

Was the weather still cold and dry when you dyno'ed, or did it start raining by then? the fallout from one of the hurricanes passed over the shop when my car was dyno'ed, so it was 100% humidity and around 78F. I have stock intake and Thermal Street 2.25" exhaust.

I was surprised to see that my car put out higher peak torque value than power. Your numbers look right to me - that's what I whould have expected. Also, either Audi underrates the torque output of our engines (302 lb-ft), or the dyno is off-calibration (but at least it is consistent).

Did Scott use the same final drive and gear ratio numbers as when he did mine? Since dynapack directly measures torque at the hubs and computes hp based on torque & RPM (which is measured at the hubs and converted to crank value using those ratios), the power numbers are only as accurate as the ratio numbers set in the dyno software.

Did you get a screenshot of your dyno plot? I'm curious to see if your torque curve exhibits similar "humps" as on mine...

Here's my graph:

with the box fan Scott was using as an alternate cooling source for the engine.

I'm almost tempted to revert to stock and test the vehicle so I can justify to myself that the mods made a worthwhile difference. The butt dyno is certainly impressed by the new feel of the car though.

Scott said the dyno could be calibrated to measure the final drive and gear ratios, since we didn't have the appropriate numbers. I'm sure that's a source for error.

The humps are there almost at the same RPM. I'll post the chart when Scott sends me a soft copy.

By the way, I think that I forgot to mention the GIAC reflash that I have as well.

Could this explain the 15hp difference?

The fans are almost irrelevant when just doing "baseline" pulls, since it all happens very quickly... they are really needed when tuning on the dyno. His fans are ok for baseline pulls, IMO.
