I'm going to need some new brake pads and rotors soon. (89K on stockers)

What have you folks used or heard is a good upgrade to stock equipment for normal S4 driving.

They carry several different rotor options that will be much cheaper than the dealer. As far as pads go, I suggest the Hawk HPS pads for the front. ECS has them for $120/pair. The drawback however is they don't have the wear sensors so you'll need to cut the wires off your old pad and short them together to get rid of the brake light warning.

If you want a stock-type pad, then there's always the Mintex Red Box.

i have them on my A4 with the A8 rotors and they have tons of bite. my only gripe is some squeeling that happens when i have to go easy on them in traffic. if you stomp on them they are quiet as hell.
