I was running errands in the vicinity, went by there around 10AM. I wish I had gone back, didn't remember that the gathering time was 11AM, would have liked to have seen the cars for a few.

i guess that's where you were headed then. I saw this ugly yellow car from 50 miles away headed south on 75. once it passed I saw it was you. obeying the speed limit to a T.

I was in my mom's car so you wouldnt have seen me.

but seriously, my God our cars are visible for MILES. I dont know if you've really noticed this or not... HEY, MR. POLICE OFFICER! OVER HERE!

Driving from Chattanooga to Atlanta is hit and miss when it comes to traffic so I leave in plenty of time to get there on time.

Did you see all the police cars? They were set up on top a bridge running radar with 6 cars waiting in the wings to snatch speeders. I'm thinking it was just north of the Red Top Mtn. exit. Man what a money maker..I'm glad I didn't contribute to their Christmas fund.

Last time I drove from Chattanooga to Atlanta I saw the same radar net at the same bridge and exit. I don't know how they missed me, but I half expected a ticket by mail. I was over the speed limit and in a construction zone. I now keep it cool in that area.

- two great choices for routes
- spirited driving on either road was possible
- the food was excellent
- made several new friends and acquaintances, and got reacquainted w/ Chris (ImolaBaby!) from the PLM

We need to support Ben on the Spring run, which he plans to make a poker run to several vineyards. Ben, Chris, and I upheld Audi honours yesterday in the face of assaults by about 50 BMW and other makes. GREAT fun! Let's get more Audis out nest time!

Thanks, Chris and Ted!!
I'm glad you guys could make it and had a lot of fun on the drive, with the wine, food and raffle. That's what we planned and I'm so glad it happened. So Ted, what are you going to do with that BMW caricature T-shirt you won? I say burn it right in front of the TT, haha. The Poker Run is already being planned for sometime in April or May. Next time lets get the Audi's out in force!!
Here are some more pictures some of the other folks took. Enjoy!!
