I was hopeing for someplace else though that knows enough about Audis for me to trust with replacing my engine and transmission mounts.

I've had several problems with my S4 and they are utterly unwilling to resolve them. AoA wasn't too helpful either. For example, I've been waiting on a damn front speaker for 3 months. 3 Months?!?! And that was after they told me it was fine (even though a rattle was audible at any volume level), that the sound was my "music." Ha.

On the other hand, one of the mechanics is a great guy -- he tries to get the stuff done correctly and will even let you hang out with him as he does it. Wish I remember his name. But when the service writer dude shows up, he gets huffy (not the mechanic, the service writer).

The service writer you talk about must be the short black haired guy? If so, thats David. (The same one who said that the fluid in my transmission can't be changed because it's a "lifetime" fluid even though the service book said otherwise)

Are you by any chance the guy that was having problems finding a fuse a few months ago, and ended up getting one from the MB desk?
