November 16 is the next Panoz track day at Road Atlanta. There will be at least two S4's driving that day (myself and Wade) and perhaps more (plus other various cars).
This would be a good opportunity for Audi folks to gather and check out the track. There is no entrance fee, but you will need to sign a waiver, and a helmet is required if you want to ride. Helmets can be rented ($20/day), but more often than not you can borrow one.
I'll be there at 7am. Driving probably won't start until around 9:30. Day ends around 4-4:30. Each group (A, B, & touring) gets 4 sessions @ 20 minutes each with a 40 minute cool-down between their sessions, ie. A-group first, then B-group, then touring.
You can read more about the track day by clicking <a href="http://www.panozracingschool.com/TrackDays.asp">here</a>.
There is a restaurant there. We may eat there or drive down the road to Chick-fil-a.
If you want to drive on the track but have never done it before, there is a Touring group that is slower paced with an instructor leading each sub-group. Don't need to have upgraded suspension, brakes, and tires to do this, just a mechanically sound, non-leaking car.
