The sway bar clamps were no problem. The old-style clamps used the same two holes that you mentioned were a PITA. However all you had to do with the top one is insert the bolt from "within the hole" and put the nut on the outside. Then you don't have to worry about holding the nut up in such a small space. :)

And for the lower nut, I just used some LONG needle nosed pliers to hold it. The fact that I did this on a lift helped a lot too.

I switched to the stiff setting and there is a noticeable difference, ie. less body roll. I need to play around just a little bit to make sure the rear end doesn't step out unexpectedly. The Ecsta V700's are awesome. They stick like glue, and the Pagid Orange pads are working nicely too.

The track day should be pretty good. They're forecasting 86 deg high temp which won't happen until like 3PM. The day's gonna start out at 66 deg! So if you're bored, you can still come out and check things out, and get a ride in my S4 or my friends' M3's.

As per the instructions *I* installed the bolts facing IN with the nuts on the inside. I even contemplated doing exactly what you did but I thought SURELY they chose the hard way for a reason...probably just to piss some folks off ;)

I haven't moved mine to stiff; I may do it this weekend or at least to the medium setting. The last time I even thought about it was the day before the June 1 track day but I thought it wouldn't be wise to move from soft to stiff one day before my first track event...last thing I wanted to do was to push wide at the bottom of turn 12!

I faxed my application for Nov. 16 early this week so I'm set for that. I need to get my hands on some R-compounds if we're going to have any real fun. I'm curious about how close we'd be on similar tire compounds....you w/more HP and greater weight and me w/less HP but less weight. Either way I'm ready!
