The official date and time, all that kinda jazz, well, the official announcement oughta come in a few days once we get our minds made up. The 18th sounds and looks like it's gonna be more feasible. A rough outline of the meet looks about like this : The Audis/VDubs roll into the parking lot of Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park, aka Olympic Park, you know the place. That will be at 10:30, 11:00. Directions will be available if needed. The 18th is a ways away, so there's plenty of time. Anyway, the Audis will pull into the lot of Olympic Park. There, we will check out each other's rides, saunter around the lot for a bit, walk and talk nothing but Audis. Once lunchtime rolls around, either when we all get hungry, or when like 1:00 rolls around. We leave Olympic Park and travel in a 'convoy' of sorts up through Georgia 400 (we all have our headlights on, too. Just to signify a group outing), get off at Exit 7B or Exit 9. Exit 7B and Exit 9 have plenty of fine restaruants. Here's a short list : Exit 7B has a Red Lobster, an Olive Garden, The Brookwood Grill, Stoney River, etc... Exit 9 has a California Pizza Kitchen, Joe's Crab Shack, etc, i forget. Anyhow, after a nice lunch and some more cavorting around the cars, we go our seperate ways, to plan for the next GTG...questions, comments? Anyone?

As long as there is no over-bearing rice-aholics there, we'll be fine. Sure, VDub, BMW, Mercedes, it don't matter. Come one, come all.

I ask because meets sometimes get kicked out of parking lots. I know perimeter mall is good about letting us hang in the parking lot if needed. Also... would anyone be interested in helping me install my shortshifter at this meet? I'll bring all the tools and all... but it's supposed to be a PITA install.
