Regardless on how ****ty the Ms are, he will bring back the excitement which that team needs. Regardless, I will go to the game to see one of my childhood heros.

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/baseball/399940_mari13.html?source=mypi</a

Insecurity? Ignorance?
If Griffey was juicing, he likely wouldn't be on the DL for 100 games a season.

it simple things like not eveyone being tested on a regular basis, taking multiple years for a positive test to surface. just leaves little faith.

He's been growing some gut and his weight fluctuations are minimal at that. It's apparent that you don't believe in hard work and discipline. People are so easy to jump on one for the use of steroids. Usually because they, themselves, don't have any self discipline to stick to a strict diet, they skip workouts, don't know how to lift, etc.
There is more than one type of steroid out there. Like I said before, athletes are using them to get off injuries and prevent them (in the small window).
Andy Pettite is a great example of that. You know how huge he got! lol!

by punishing those who take the easy way with banned substances instead of looking the other way like nothing is going on. Look at europe, the possession or testing positive for a banned substance is a criminal offense. not a bull**** apology on tv and a short suspension.

If NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS/EPL/CL, cycling, swimming, etc. started enforcing testing like they do in the Olympics, that would be great. Same type of punishments.
Drop everything right now, treat it like a clean slate. Start testing tomorrow. Issue out the suspensions/banning/fines/revoking the day after.

I'm with Alan, I'd love to see Griffey end his career here. He's pretty much the only real sports icon Seattle has ever had. Unless you count Sue Bird...
