Are you looking for something to draw schematics and make PCBs, or simulation software to see how the circuit will behave? My favorite for schematic capture and PCBs is Cadsoft EAGLE. The UI is funky at first but it's still the best package for many people. (I know a guy who has a $20k software package on his laptopsfor work but prefers the free "LITE" version of EAGLE for PCB layout. If you want to do a quick circuit simulation, Multisim from National Instruments is probably the most intuitive. There's a freedownlad that works for 30 days, which might get you what you need. |
