I was in New York City this past weekend trying to make my way downtown in real heavy traffic and was getting really annoyed. I stop at the intersection of Houston St. and Bowery and was paying attention to the "Brownie", or traffic police, directing traffic. I was on the leftmost lane which can either go straight or left. As the officer directed me to cross the intersection, I decided to "gun" it accross the intersection not realizing that the idiot limo to my right decides he's going to make a left turn. Suffice it to say I slammed on my brakes, felt the anti-lock mechanism and all, but this car stopped on a dime (while my passengers were screaming). In a way I'm thankful about this experience because I've always worried about stopping power with these brakes. I guess I don't have to anymore.
