hole #15 at Trilogy. 160 yards with my 8 iron!

I knew right when I hit that it was going to be good. All the guys in my foursome started yelling for it to go in.... it rolled about 10 feet and disapeared into the hole!!

I have never jumped so high and yelled so loud. I couldn't believe it... quite the amazing feeling

Yes I have pics and a signed scored card to prove it ;) the guys at the clubhouse are going to send it in to the PI.

I shot a 90 from the tips which is pretty good for me especially since I haven't swung a club in 2 months.

I was in the clubhouse when some guy walk in and his buddies said he got a hole in one and had to buy a drink for everyone in the clubhouse. Of course it was a double!!!

Met with Jeff at KAAS the other day.

He is now convinced and will be in touch about a chip :)

I have only one hole in one in my life. Got it at a company tourny where you had to draw from a hat what club to use on a par 3. I drew a 3 wood. I topped it but the tee box was lifted up over the fairway so it carried about 60 yards and rolled all the way to the hole. What an improbable way to get a hole in one. Better to lucky than good.

He didn't need much of a push ... just confirmation that a chip was all good :)

I was playing well... hitting my new driver reallllly well. Still not the epic 300yard drives that you were hitting but straight and consistent all day long.

here in Taiwan.

Over the course of the past three years, there have been 3 guys in my golf league who have gotten hole in ones.

1) Everyone in the foursome, plus everyone who witnessed, plus close friends & family are taken out that evening. Dinner, drinks, more drinks, karaoke, more drinks, etc... COST: $NT70,000 to $NT80,000 (~ $2500 USD)

2) Everyone in the foursome is given a gift (usually a golf shirt, or similar) COST: $NT9000 (~ $300 USD)

3) Everyone in the golf league, plus close friends and family are invited to a hole in one golf tournament. Upon check-in at the tourney, everyone is given one dozen commemorative golf balls (emblazoned with Name, Date, Golf Course, Hole #, & Yardage). Also given another golf gift of some kind (hat, towel, etc...). After tournament is over, full formal dinner for all, tournament prizes awarded. Prizes include everything .... sleeve of balls, golf shirts, individual clubs (wedges, putters, drivers), golf bags ... top gifts for a one of the tourneys included air conditioners and refrigerators (from the company the guy owned).
COST: $NT250,000 to $NT300,000

When all is said and done, the total bill for getting a hole in one comes to near $15,000 USD
