My husband and I would like to get to know you guys and you're families. I'm thinking of doing a BBQ possibly at our house (if there is enough interest, and the weather is on my side) at the end of the month. Nothing is set in stone, I'm thinking the 28th or 29th.

I'd recommend just doing a lunch or dinner at a restaurant... that's usually much easier to organize. And with the Portland crowd, you never know... sometimes you get only 4 people, and sometimes you get 20. A restaurant can handle that better than an individual.

That said, I'm out of town the weekend of 28th... but I'm interested if its on a date that I'm free.
