Hey All,

I'm a long time visitor but new to the forum. I recently picked up a C6 A6 4.2 after letting my '04 A4 1.8T go. Prior to that I had a 2001 S4. Obviously I like my Audis.

I have a couple of questions about wheels and suspension for my A6. I would like to do something about the gap. The boys over at Achtuning have pointed me to the Koni FSDs as a solution. It would be an easy decision to make if I could get a grip on how the ride changes. I know it will be firmer, but by how much? If any of you has this set up and would be willing to take me for a spin, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm in Bellevue and am willing to meet up anywhere in the area, maybe Achtuning?

Also, I have been educated by Achtuning on their replica wheels. I understand what the offset does to the stance of the car. I guess my main concern is what it may do to the rest of the suspension. I may hold on to this car for a while and the last thing I want to do is end up with suspension issues down the road. Can anyone comment on this?

Sorry for the long post. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular and stripping me of my newb status.

Matt

but I have been running 20mm wider than stock for several years on my allroad and had no problems... yet.

Thanks for your help. Dion at Achtuning! was able to answer my questions to my satisfaction.

Mad props to them for being on IM.

So, who's got a lowered C6? I just gotta feel the ride before I buy. Come on and take me for a spin.

Thanks.

Matt
