View Full Version : Futrell's not picking up the phone and I need an oil change wednesday afternoon... subliminal image 12-18-2006, 12:54 PM Any suggestions for other seattle shops? beaudawg 12-18-2006, 01:04 PM GoCougarsWSU 12-18-2006, 01:08 PM Makes them spawn faster. or better yet, hit up Redmond European. kmaTTick 12-18-2006, 01:13 PM I sent them an email a couple of months ago to query about some work I needed. I had swung by the shop and found it pretty empty. It took them a few weeks just to reply to my email. That was enough for me, I would NEVER go to them for anything. If you can't even respond to a potential customer wanting to give you money, no way I'm gonna trust you with my car.. subliminal image 12-18-2006, 01:21 PM Skyler@Achtuning.com 12-18-2006, 01:24 PM subliminal image 12-18-2006, 01:40 PM Killer00S4 12-18-2006, 02:18 PM I don't think I would judge a shop by the fact that it took them a while to respond to email LOL! I could name a few shops that never responded to my email once. There has been a major power outtage in bellevue for almost all weekend, a lot of shops are not open today. Omid:S4:Nogaro 12-18-2006, 02:26 PM If I don't get treated right by a shop (and that includes proper communication, whether by email or by phone), I won't go back. You want repeat customers (or even first time customers), then treat your customers right. Disclaimer: I've never dealt with Futrell's, and this is in no way a statement about them. I'm just making a general comment about any shop or business, whether auto related or not. subliminal image 12-18-2006, 02:35 PM Dean@Futrell 12-18-2006, 02:44 PM Apparently you guys up North got hit a lot worse than we did down here, power was out from the storm through today at noon, this included phones, sorry for any inconvenience. Dean@Futrell 12-18-2006, 02:55 PM This day and age there are so many spam filters (receiving and sending) emails can get lost in recycle bins (both to and from sender). If you ever need an immediate quote just call or stop by, thats why we have retail space instead of "Call for an appointment" warehouse space. I'm sorry you didn't receive the timely reply you should have but please don't hold us responsible when using email, its hardly in our control what happens to the message from when its sent, delivered and when the reply arrives. All have went out of their way to give me a hand with the problem in the link. I am still looking for a few more written estimates to help out my friend.

http://forums.audiworld.com/pacificnw/msgs/103610.phtml

stadtjunge 12-18-2006, 03:42 PM new shocks, brakes, control arms, tie rod ends, and a fluid flush all around. fun! kmaTTick 12-19-2006, 08:20 AM uhhh....yeah. This was a few months ago...No power issues that I am aware of back then. And maybe if the shop was staffed with someone living I COULD have spoken with them. kmaTTick 12-19-2006, 08:22 AM I only sent an email after calling repeatedly and going to visit an empty shop. Dean@Futrell 12-19-2006, 09:53 AM It opened October 2nd, prior to that it was "By Appointment" as we looked for suitable staff members. I'm guessing since you went by "a few months ago" it was not open yet. |
