BTW if you have a 01.5 A4 just bend over and take it... Damn thing is a 5 wire wideband and you can not use the universal 4 wire... so $225 later, I have it in...Check Engine light reset by me (using my chip) and it stays off... through 11 restarts and about 70 miles of combo driving...

Then this morning...back on again...

FUSSSSCK!

Biggest issue is that I have to have the car emission tested today or tomorrow to get my damn tabs...

Anyone know if the state does the readiness check (ie if I reset it myself and go take the test am I going to fail the readiness check?)

Once I get the tabs I can worry about what the real issue is... At this point I guess I need to look for a pressure leak or it is a MAF problem.

Fun!

Any success with TwoQuicks in Tacoma?

I work in Redmond and live in Tacoma, I would like to get it tested tomorrow...

Thanks for any input...

You can clear the code, then set the readiness with the VAG - and go directly to emissions check without shutting off the engine. Don't know if keeping it running will avoid it spitting another code, but this has worked for me in the past with an intermittently recurring secondary air injection code.
(I live between Redmond and Woodinville and have a VAG if you need to use it.)
