I'm looking to buy a 2001 TT Roadster 225hp Quattro and it's down in Portland, I live in Seattle. I just got off the phone with the guy (a total jerk) and I cant tell if it's a scam or not, he speaks 2 words each sentence, not very eager to sell the car, has been saying he's out of town on Sunday and today said he's on a sail boat and wont be back until Thursday. I asked if he could provide me the VIN# of the TT and he said "I'll see what I can do?" How does this sound to you guys, if it's sketchy I was hoping someone in the Portland area could take a look at it for me? I could send a few bucks down there for you. Also...does this sound like a scam to you, I would expect a scammer to be more eager to sell the car dont you think?
