go to your local Sears store and see where it actually is made. Recommend only buying tools made in USA or Europe for quality and supporting the middle class. Also, check the store price vs. the current bid of over $200 - it may be cheaper at the store.

Ever since Wallmart bought Sears it gets harder and harder to get them to honor the "Lifetime" warrenty. At one point I know they were asking for recipt's... For a tool given as a gift 10 some years ago that can be kinda hard :(
