does the peugot sound maintain its deapth, or is it prone to flooding? i take it the lakes do, beacuse there are lockes between them and the sound, right? i've got alot to learn about this area. usually, i learn really quick by going out and being social right when i move to a new area, but i don't have much time for that now adays.

The Puget Sound maintains its depth after all its connected to the ocean. Lake Sammamish the one that borders Redmond and Issaquah drains into Lake Washington the big lake. Lake Washington is connected to lake union and the locks are at the North West end of the lake.
The glaciers made the hills too.
