We still have a few openings for Quattrofest, November 3, 4, and 5th at Portland International Raceway. If you've been meaning to register but have not, now is the time to take action.

We expect this event to sell out again this year, so register now by clicking on the link to http://www.motorsportreg.com/calendar/event.cfm?uidEvent=4F973B1F-DD13-EC75-DA662C4D898D9CF7

Our venue once again is the Portland International Raceway, home to world class racing events, and perfectly suited to our needs for instruction. Located minutes from downtown Portland and a little under 3 hours from Seattle, PIR has been a wonderful host for us for 12 years. Visit the web site for more information http://www.portlandraceway.com/

The cost is $285 for the full event, for either the Driver Ed/skills or for the two days of lapping, including Friday's banquet, shirt and lunches. Lapping for a single day only is $135 on Friday or $150 on Saturday and does not include shirt or banquet. The Driver Ed/skills day for Friday only (no lapping Saturday) is $150 and does not include the banquet nor shirt. For the most fun and learning, register for the full event.

For novices and first timers, our activities start Thursday night with tech inspections and a chalk talk session at our favorite Portland hotel, the Courtyard Marriot North Harbor. The chalk talk is required for 1st timers and recommended for all. This talk will focus on the basics of high performance driving and how it applies to safe street driving. Details and a complete schedule will be emailed to participants about a week before the event.

Friday will start at 7:00 am for tech inspections and registration for those who did not attend Thursday's talk. At 9:00 participants will be split into groups and run through exercises designed to teach the basics of control at the limit. Lunch is include both days. We will then finish the exercises, and move to some low speed track familiarization. If time permits there will be some high speed lapping on Friday afternoon. Students that have been signed off solo can either do either exercises or lapping on Friday morning (last year, Friday gave lappers more track time than most could use).

Saturday is a high speed lapping day for all drivers. Cars will be divided into run groups based on experience levels and car performance. We limit number of participants to 75 plus our instructors, so there is always plenty of track time to get what you need out of the day.

So in summary, if you would like to drive more safely, this is the event for you. If you like hanging out with a bunch of really nice people, this is the event for you. If you like seeing a lot of really cool cars, then this is the event for you. If you are a lapper and like lots of lapping, then this is the event for you.
