At the annual audi expo there was a huge raffle, that everyone and their brother (mostly all of those canuks too) were winning things. Well, at the very end the announcer threw up some keychains for free. There was a mad bumrush and I managed to get a few. I gave a couple to my friends and then had one left over. This guy approaches me out of all people who got the keychain and says hey, I will trade you my free 5 pulls at Matrix down in portlad for your keychain. It didnt take me more than 2 seconds to assess worth of both items and take the certificate. I then was trying to trade other people things for the certificate which then it had dawned on me when I was talking earlier with another Audi enthusiast and we had said that we would do anything just for a ride in that SQ and then I got to thinking, this guy could actually use the Dyno on his SQ and he was from Oregon so that would be even more convienant. When I asked him I had my WSU shirt on and he mentioned something along the lines that if I was against the huskies (university of Washington) then I was a friend of his, and that he would've given me a ride in the car for free. He then asked if I would be interested in driving the car...<jaw drop, heart racing, nervous breakdown> OMG, of course. I believe I even ased him if he was for sure he wanted to let me do that at first, I couldnt control my excitement at this point. I told everyone around me and to much disbelief.that I was about to drive the sport quattro. When I was getting into the car Iskolnick video taped this, which I am waiting for him to edit and host so I can DL. We start on driving, and Mr.Gaska asks me where to go. During the drive he shows me what he thinks was the best part of the car when we actually went from 100-40mph in a matter of 1-2 seconds, the BRAKES. He said that was the most upsetting part about the car and how he was angered at an magazine that just came out a couple months ago which totally slammed the brakes on the SQ. He did some nice smoothly accelerated pulls and was taking his time to warm up the turbo. We end up driving on two main highways for about 15 minutes from the meet when he pulls over. This is where the camera I guess ran out of tape, but he tried recording me getting into the car starting her up and then the first couple of minutes of me driving the car. At this point we had some yellow 911 turbo tailing us for most of the way back. He then told me that he would rather me get the speeding ticket for driving his car fast so have fun...I was really easy on the car getting it into and out of gear, but the shifter was very stiff and smooth. I never romped it in first, but in 2nd I got it to start twisting sideways on the onramp. He didnt seem to mind me driving the car, but instead just enjoyed it that much more as the passenger. This car seriously felt so rock solid for it weighing so little. I did have the chance on multiple times to take the car over 100, experience a variety of pulls (which even at 80 in 5th gear I out accelerated a Dodge Hemi Wagon). I got to experience the amazing brakes first hand as well as get on it around a corner. We didnt really mess around with the difflocks or anything but none the less, I got to drive the illusive Aui Sport Quattro for the first time for a good 20 mins before I had to be pried out of the drivers seat.

It's very admirable that he does so as that beast is yearning to be driven.
