Join us at Bremerton Raceway on May 13th and 14th for a day of driver skill training and autocross, followed by a track day. The club website has a great description with photos of what to expect. Go to the Audi Club NW website to find out more about the event, and follow the links to register, or go directly to the registration site to register. We will have a "child watch" service so that mom and dad can both learn new skills and have fun.

Bremerton is an ideal venue as it provides more track time for your enthusiast dollar than any other venue. As always, the spirit of the day will be to have fun, to improve our driving skills, and to share what we learn with others. Our sponsor for this event is University Audi, who is sponsoring lunch. The event master is Rainer Elias . We suggest you register early, as space is limited to 30 drivers and we sold out this event last year.

The Skills Day on the 13th will be scheduled to accommodate novices with driver education exercises followed in the afternoon with an autocross to link all the skills together. We will conduct some classroom theory for the mind. Braking exercise, slalom, and accident avoidance will be set up to transfer the mental concepts to seat of the pants learning. The afternoon will transfer these new skills to the autocross course.

For experienced drivers, the autocross will be available all day to expand your skills and we will have timing equipment to measure your improvement. Bernie Strub will be designing the autocross to enhance all our driving skills.

Saturday the 14th will be a track day, enabling new drivers to link the skills from the day before, and plenty of track time for experienced drivers. Bremerton gives the most seat time for your enthusiast dollar, so be sure to register early.

Registration requires payment to confirm your spot. You can pay with credit card on-line, or print your registration and mail the check to Audi Club Northwest, PO BOX 193, Mercer Island, WA 98040. The cost for the Skills day and Autocross is $75. The Track Day is $100, or you can attend both days for $150.

For directions to the track, or for available lodging near by, please see the track website at Bremerton Raceway and click on "directions." For specific event questions, please email Rainer Elias.

I might have to sign up just to check it out (and get a ride!)...Have you created a little dry weather shrine in your backyard?

;)

And until I can finish prepping the S4 to sell it, the new one has been out in the driveway at nights so I can access it in the morning to drive it to work...

Is there a different price if you share your car? Since you are technically getting half of the track time, is the price lower?

Can your partner ride in the car with you at the same time?

Do they need to be a Audi Club NW member too?

Thanks in advance.

Unless one of you is an ACNA instructor.

This is typically done when the drivers are in different run groups so you don't lose track time. It does not change the price of registration for the respective drivers.

Whenever there are 2 people in the car on the track, one of those 2 people must be an instructor according to Audi Club event rules.
