TorqueFreaks / HorsepowerFreaks Present the Pacific NW End of Summer Dyno Event

At our last dyno event in December, we had 150 people show up, 30 cars dyno, and 30 free pizzas gone in 20 minutes. This time, we are going to blow that away. This September 18th and 19th event will consist of two days of dyno runs, plenty of free food to go around, and the chance to see some of the fastest cars in the area put down some serious numbers. We realize that most owners on this forum have AWD cars, but we're inviting everyone to watch and enjoy some food. If you have a second car that isn't AWD, you're welcome to throw that on the rollers as well :-) All 2WD cars and trucks are welcome to participate - we want to see EVERY type of vehicle on the rollers from stock 4 cylinder imports to heavily modified V8 domestics. If you've never seen a 1000hp car or a 1000ft-lb diesel truck on the rollers, you won't want to miss this event. Our dyno is capable of measuring 1800whp and 1800wtq.

If anyone can max out our dyno, EVERYONE dynos for free!

Pricing: $25 for 3 pulls (Diesels - $40)

To sign up, call TorqueFreaks at (503) 256-5600 x 4.

There's a proformance open track day at PIR on Sept. 22. If you had this going on Sept. 21, I could hit the dyno event on the way to the Oxford Inn and benchmark my NA Ford Focus SVT pre-forced induction. Oh well. It'll be a while (if ever) before the little car gets FI, but this would be convenient...

Stay tuned...AWD dyno is just around the corner :)

But for this event, it's going to be 2WD only. If anything, you should come watch...I just got confirmation that the torque record should be shattered. By how much? I don't know :)

http://www.torquefreaks.com

Just a reminder to everyone - this event is THIS Saturday and Sunday. We have over 50 cars signed up but there are still a few spots left for those who are thinking about running their car on the rollers. Call (503)-256-5600 x 4 to reserve one of the final spots. I know some of you have to have a 2WD car you want to dyno :)

We're shutting down our shop on Friday to prepare for this massive event. 5000 sqft of space will be allocated inside for people to watch the cars and socialize. We'll have 3-4 BBQs going with free burgers and hot dogs for everyone. We even have a few veggie burgers for the non-carnivores among us :)

If anyone needs directions, feel free to give us a call or check out the map on our website - http://www.torquefreaks.com. See you this weekend!

http://www.torquefreaks.com</a
