I've gotten 2 tickets in the past 3 days >:( both for 19 over. should I fight the man or just pay the piper??

I'm sorry, but it's just too expensive in the long-run to simply take your medicine. The insurance hit is potentially exorbitant.

one of my prof's for law class is a lawyer and he keeps telling us that if you get a lawyer for traffic tickets, its almost a sure thing you will get off.

Maybe you earned it, but it still sucks. In your case, I'd DEFINITELY fight. You could lose your license and might get dropped from your insurance (which you know).

File for discovery, and look for technicalities. Hire a $300 lawyer.

And slow down Mr. Neg 1 !!!! LOL

my driving style was changed drastically by my one ticket (I'm on deferral...still), and it wasn't even a speeding ticket. most i cruise at is 10 over on freeway
