my engine is basically gone.. so i am now looking for a 1.8t engine to replace the old one... anyone know of any places??

I killed my car on the way up to stevens pass this saturday and had to get it towed back into town which costed over $300. I get a call from my mechanic today and he tells me that not only did my timing belt go but i bent valves and i need a new cylinder head.... does anyone have any parts for sell or know where or how i can get any of these replacement parts for cheap.. im a broke college kid so i would love to avoid paying full dealership prices on this stuff... please help
