(i posted this in the a4 forums earlier today but was wondering if anyone in the Wa area knew of somewhere or someone who could help)

I killed my car on the way up to stevens pass this saturday and had to get it towed back into town which costed over $300. I get a call from my mechanic today and he tells me that not only did my timing belt go but i bent valves and i need a new cylinder head.... does anyone have any parts for sell or know where or how i can get any of these replacement parts for cheap.. im a broke college kid so i would love to avoid paying full dealership prices on this stuff... please help

TIA

take a look online, partsfinder.com and input all the specs and it found one for me in pretty good condition for about $600, you have to take it to a machine shop to have it resurfaced to make sure its not warped where it seals, just happend to me last week same thing, sorry to hear it man, really no fun and not cheap.

I've seen tow truck drivers in correctly hook Audi's up and put a hole in oil pans. Might want to check pan.

I have used both and like them both. I tilt slightly towards autohausaz right now.

They have good prices on the stuff you needed before the T-belt job and I guess yo need that and more now.

Some junkyards around may have heads and engines.

Sorry about loosing the belt, that really sucks.
