View Full Version : Thanks in advance Josh, I hope this turns out for the best... igozoom97a4 01-10-2003, 11:17 PM See you at 9AM tomorrow with my A4 on a flatbed...

Car broke down, Downpipe/Cat Problems...

AnsonK 01-11-2003, 11:36 PM Had a soggy, but enjoyable, 1st day at Thunderhill today. Track even managed to dry out for my last run group. Coilovers are a definite improvement. Car feels solid. Later, Anson P.S. Since you now seem to be on 24hr Call, can I get your beeper number? :-p AnsonK 01-12-2003, 09:23 PM Josh@StatusRacing 01-13-2003, 06:32 PM actually I work on sundays a lot too :) How was LSIR??? Anxious to get your feedback on the FKs! AlanL 01-13-2003, 07:51 PM Sunday we ended up trying to do lapping sessions in what turned out to be a Severe Flood Alert from the Nat. Weather Service. The track looked it too with standing water almost everywhere and small rivers flowing across parts of it. Made for interesting times for those us who showed up with near slicks lacking measurable tread depth. We got to slide and hydroplane our way around the track watching a grinning Anson fly by with his nice new S03's. AnsonK 01-14-2003, 10:18 AM Enjoyed another full day of monsoon conditions all the way up I-5 on Monday. 700 miles of "threshold hydroplaning" -- yeehaw! Luckily the snow level remained above 5500ft (and above 45F) so the SO3s were champs through the Siskiyou's and on past Ashland, OR. SO3 will definitely remain my warm weather street tire, but I think I am going to dedicate the OZ Superleggera's to track duty and get some RA1s for next "season" at SIR. Enjoy the rest of your trip! |
