I took my car there to basically have the same stuff you're doing, save the cv boot (thermostat, timing belt, tie rod endings, other warrenty work), and it cost me at least half of what the dealer wanted for the exact same thing. Plus Cub, the owner, is a good guy and takes the time to answer even the dumbest, yet important to you, questions. Call'em up and check'em out.
