"Well, last night's storm really did us some good! With 12 inches of new and our base now at 20 inches this morning, things are getting veeeeeeery close. The base at Heather Meadows is right around the amount we need, but at first daylight we have to go out with snow cats and see how it holds up and covers the mountain after begin packed out a bit. Forecasts are looking good with heavy snowfall expected today. If forecasts stay favorable and the snow we received last night packs out well, we will be on our way! We will be doing a 2:00 pm update this afternoon to let you know how things look."
