Yup, the Audi NW car club is putting on a driver-training event on Friday, Sept. 6th at Bremerton Raceway, with a lapping day on Saturday the 7th. This would be an excellent opportunity to prepare for the big November event at Portland. The Bremerton experience will give all new participants a big advantage over other first-timers at Portland.

When: Friday, September 6th for the driver-safety events. This is required for all first-timers if you want to attend the "lapping" day. Saturday, Sept. 7th for the "lapping" day. Instructors will be available for new participants and others who wish to improve their skills.
Cost: Full event (both days) is $100 per car/driver, and $70 for second driver.
Friday's driver-safety school only: $50 per car/driver, and $40 for the second driver.
Saturday's lapping only: $60 per car/driver, and $50 for second driver.
Beginner's will be under the guidance of an instructor and in their own "run" group.
helmet rental: $15, but there is a limited supply, so first-come-first-served.
Audi Car Club National Membership (if not already a member): $40 (a bargain!) This is "required" as the event insurance is thru the National Club.
accommodations: We have reserved a block of rooms at the Howard Johnsone Plaza Hotel in Bremerton (360-373-9900). Be sure to ask for the Audis Northwest club discount.

New drivers will enjoy a "chalk-talk" and "track-walk" proir to the safety-school events and the lapping event.
Tech will take place in the morning prior to any driving events.
Lunch is sponsored by University Audi...and we hope to have a little more than the standard "track-food".
