View Full Version : OT - Are Rogers phones unlocked? I want to buy a used BB Pearl... afretes 12-09-2008, 07:34 AM and take it to Argentina and I'm wondering if it is unlocked. I've seen lots of people advertising in my town. I'd also heard that sometimes you can pay a fee to the provider (Rogers) and they'd unlock it, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as cheap as getting it done at a shop.

Seems simple - They're BBB members too!

afretes 12-09-2008, 09:12 AM maaliish 12-09-2008, 12:57 PM quartlow 12-09-2008, 01:48 PM Some are known to permanently damage (brick) spme phones. Better off getting the firmware reflashed. There are plenty of DIY sites that can point you in the right direction as far as executables go, amd model specific walkthroughs on youtube. If you're techno impared, look up one of the local indie cell shops on howardforums.com and pay to have it done. You're looking at about $30ish. eltonsi 12-09-2008, 03:41 PM afretes 12-09-2008, 03:49 PM maaliish 12-10-2008, 06:45 AM Hobag 12-10-2008, 11:49 AM quartlow 12-10-2008, 01:57 PM |
