What do you think about this 8 inch crease we have in our Mazda3? How much do you think it would cost to fix?

I know it's a bit tough, as you can't get at it from the wheel well, and need to do so from the inside by taking the light out and removing a bit of carpeted trim first.

I've used it 3 times on my car; like any service it's important to find the right dudes. Here is where I go:

The only part you most likely will not be able to get rid of is the area where this crease meets the factory body line curvature around the wheel opening. Good luck though, some PDR's are better than others. I can't give you an idea of cost. When I have my cars worked on, half of their work is already taken care of (I usually remove any interior trim necessary to enable access to the damaged area).

Not in the GTA alas, I'm out on the West Coast. I've also heard it matters a lot who you use, so I found a guy who was recommended by someone who does really good work in mobile painting and fixing scratches.

The guy charged me $175 though, and managed to only get about half the crease out (the left half). He said his rod ran into some thing at that point, and it was really tight, so he couldn't go beyond that.

The part he fixed looks great, but sucks that he didn't manage to do the whole thing, and I'm now wondering if he even overcharged me... we had to sell the car today, so I was in a rush to get as much fixed as possible and didn't have time to find a second person.

At least now I know a bit better in case (I hope not...) I ever need to get another one fixed.

I think it was $120 for mine, a little bit more as the dent had a crease in it, less if it didn't from what I was told. Bigger ones like yours would be more also, but given that he wasn't able to take all of it out, I may have tried to ask for a few bucks off.
