Short story shorter...I curbed one of my BBS CH's and the tires badly today. The tire is gouged to crap, is it still safe?

My options are:

1. Let it be.
2. Get the rim fixed(need recommendations on a shop).
3. Buy a new rim and tire and use this one as a full size spare.
4. Cry all day long and hope that some invents a working time machine soon.

I feel sick to my stomach.

Buy either Bruno, Phoenix, Tgr_clw, Hobag, Kraftig lunch. Offer to buy drinks and step outsite for a "phone call"

Srsly...I feel for you. Wrecking rims is so sickening which is why I bought 2nd hand rims
that were already rashed...no heartache there ;)

Ok...srsly again, see if 2 is even a possibility.

He had to swerve to avoid hitting a little kid running out on the street chasing after his dog.

a couple days to see if it develops a bubble (I doubt it). If not, then it's fine.

As for the rim, go to Carcone http://carconeswheelrefinishing.com/. They charged me $125 for a rim in worse condition than yours. Well worth it.

Actually, this is the first curb I have hit in about 7 years. It just happened to have happened with my CH's...but Visti, I'll try your option.

Here's the story, was pulling out of a parking spot, had a brain fart...and turned too early, about a foot to early, but in my defense this curb is about a foot longer then usual. So mad at myself!

I'll keep an eye out. I cut off the hanging piece of rubber, and it seems to be only the rim protector bead that has been shaved off. Also thanks for the recommendation, I'll go and check Carcone out.
