Does anybody know what the approx timeframe would be to get delivery of an A5 if I ordered now?

Try and find out from the dealer what the people ahead of you have ordered. Everyone ahead of me ordered autos and I ordered a manual so I jumped to the front of the queue when they got a manual allocation. I had to wait less than 4 months from when I put my deposit down but I was extremely lucky and this was before pricing was even out and there's a lot more interest in the car now.

I'd also phone around to different dealers. I think one guy put deposits at 3 dealers in eastern Canada and got his car already from one of them but still has like 9 months at another.

I must have got mine before autos were available.

Every salesman at my dealership has mentioned 20 times to me how lucky I am that I ordered a manual otherwise I'd still be waiting.
