I'm sure someone will post much better pics, thus exposing my inept photo taking abilities! Not the best camera for nightime, either. But here's what's going on at my place:
- Some guy in a bimmer's been trying to dig it out for 3+ hrs. Eventually gave up and just parked it on the street.
- If they don't plow the street soon, nobody's going anywhere. Despite how good quattro is, I know I'll have a hard time getting out of my driveway in 40-60 cm's of snow in some spots!
- Let out my dog in the backyard and he was almost lost in the snow... and he's by no means a small dog!
I'll have to give it a bit of a run in the spring, just so that it does not rust.

Got home after midnight, 10 minutes to make it up the street. Didn't even make into the driveway.
Rant: if you want to park your car on the street so you can shovel the driveway, fine, but try parking your car in a decent spot so there's not another car on the other side of the street such that it's not wide enough for a car to drive through. Use some common sense!!!
I think this summer is going to have some extreme weather conditions which is gonna suck for everybody.

Didn't even make it up the driveway, and after the plows came by sometime early this morning, his car was stuck but after a good hour of shoveling he got it out.
North entrance to our alleyway is completely blocked, if I knew it was soft snow I'd go for it but at least the other entrance is opened, think somebody shoveled it.
Buddy of mine up at Blue yesterday. Afternoon conditions were awesome. I like a split of summer and winter. Funny, I do more outdoors in the winter (snowboarding) than summer (biking).... go figure.

Here's what it looked like at my place this morning.
There's my new snowfence (it's 3ft taller than the real one =P) And yes that's my B3 on the right. Still not road worthy yet, but almost there =)

Imagine what I see when I look out the window

I used to have an overground pool somewhere back there... I wonder where it went? (don't base yourself on where the ladder is) And you can imagine how funny it was looking at the dog this morning trying to make his way through that. It's always great to start the day off almost pissing yourself laughing XD

You mean they haven't declared it an emergency situation yet and sent in the troops?

Skier and I don't own a snow blower. And I still like winter even this one.

point. Picture taken after I drove the A4 into the driveway through about 3 feet of snow. Oh what a pleasant quattro evening. I'm pretty sure that if I had sport suspension I would have gotten stuck. In fact I did get stuck a couple of times on my street when I stopped, but a quick reverse and a power through kept me going. The coilovers might be going on this spring so I'm enjoying the snow as much as I can this winter.
