View Full Version : Does anyone know when the Q7 3.0 TDI will be available in Canada? saskabush 02-27-2008, 10:46 PM Tgr_Clw 02-27-2008, 11:58 PM saskabush 02-28-2008, 12:16 AM Where did you hear that it would be available in 2 weeks? I am trying to decide whether I should get the 3.6 FSI now or wait for the 3.0 TDI. I really don't want to wait too long but the thought of getting better fuel economy with the diesel definitely interests me and it may be worth the wait as long as it's not too long. afretes 02-28-2008, 04:26 AM afretes 02-28-2008, 04:27 AM saskabush 02-28-2008, 06:08 AM vincent9993 02-28-2008, 06:26 AM afretes 02-28-2008, 06:50 AM spending the extra money for the diesel engine and the maintenance involved with it if you didn't drive a lot? Mi feeling is that the Q7 3.0 TDI's base price will be about $65k when it somes out +++ options. Probably a difference of about $7k for the engine alone... that pays for a lot of gas. The vehicle is supposed to go into production in fourth quarter of the current year, we should have info sometime in the summer. saskabush 02-28-2008, 07:18 AM northof49(+1+1) 02-28-2008, 07:44 AM Tgr_Clw 02-28-2008, 07:49 AM Doesn't necessarily have to be true ;-) saskabush 02-28-2008, 07:53 AM afretes 02-28-2008, 07:55 AM

http://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/Trio.do</a

Meegis 02-28-2008, 08:08 AM saskabush 02-28-2008, 08:10 AM saskabush 02-28-2008, 08:11 AM Kirk 02-28-2008, 08:22 AM Tgr_Clw 02-28-2008, 08:24 AM He didn't really buy the diesel to save money, instead he's enjoying a mid-size car-like fuel economy and the fact that he can easily get 900 km per tank. I envy him as I had to fill up my car yesterday at -14C.
