... who here would actually like a replacement cluster? Has anyone looked into a price?

I had my first cluster replaced under warranty but now, well out of warranty, my second cluster is starting to fade away. If the price was right, I'd get a new one. If there were enough of us, I woulder if we could get a deal.

Supposedly (from what I remember) if you take the screen out, clean it and reapply pressure it may work.

intrested in diong repairs to it or purchasing a new one.

fixes the clusters on C5 A6, B5 A4, S4..

... I'd be scared of cracking the display by re-applying pressure to the panel.

But from the way my display is fading, I'd say I'd agree with the pressure. My display is fading from the outside in.
