Grandfather wanted a new car, so I picked up a new car for him down here in sunny Florida. It is a 2008 Lexus ES350 Premium Plus Nav. My mother already has an 07 ES350 Ultra Premium, so it wasn't a hard decision. Anyways, enjoy the pics, the first one is an SC in front of one of the dealers waterfall walls.

I know the trim is nicer in the Lexus, and perhaps it may be quieter than the Camry, but the yoder also $5K less....... or is Gramps just looking for something to remind him of his old Buick Special straight 8? ;-)

A colleague at work is looking at an ES350...how much did he save by buying from the US, if you don't mind me asking?

But then the same could be said of the A3 and GTi, so who am I to say? ;-)

it is like comparing Miracle whip to real cream. Some people actually prefer Miracle Whip.

Me, I'd rather have the real thing.

Too many uncertainties when you're talking this amount of cash.

They will be taxing it on the used book value when the car comes home, and that wont be for at least 4-5 months.

Hence the uncertainty.

old Milano as a daily driver since nothing new on the market tickles my fancy without being silly over-kill. So if you can take completely take apart, refurbish, and re-engineer a Milano in 6 months, you're hired;-)

Only problem is it probably wont look, act, or resemble what it was before I got to it.

Just because I can do it, doesnt mean I can do it right.

Honesty is the best policy.... So, am I hired?

scope for "adjustment".

While we're being honest, you'd have to sleep in the unheated tool shed next to the air compressor. Is that ok? ;-P
