Defintely worth doing. I generally flush the p/s system on our 00 30v out every 2 years. The fluid really cooks on the V6's, in hotter climates its a bit of an issue. Most Audi's could probably use a much bigger cooler for their p/s systems.
It also helps to clean out the filter screen in the resv. bottle. You'll probably find its filled with a bunch of debris. I use brake clean to completely clean it out, let it dry before installing.
