Have you tried www.navplus.us? There could be a software update for the NAVI along with a new map that doesn't avoid those BMW dealers ;-)<ul><li><a href="http://www.navplus.us">www.navplus.us</a></li></ul>

in fact sometimes it wants to use dirt roads because the distance is shorter.
Have you selected the incorrect planner criteria, like main roads only, or something? I always use the default setting.

For example, it may have some avoidance selected causing the routes to change.

Which may offer a clue to the problem.

In my Garmin 2620 changing the settings actually made a difference as to how it calculated the route.

Audi need to get to the bottom of this and fix the problem. I have sent the information to the dealer and they are following up to try and correct the navigation system. Maybe it is software or hardware. Let them fix it.

As far as I can tell, no one else seems to have this identical problem.
