Tanner 10-22-2006, 10:27 AM Wow, tire gets cut on Schumy's car and he's basically at the back. afretes 10-22-2006, 10:51 AM Tanner 10-22-2006, 11:02 AM Yep. Ferrari's letting him keep that car after the race, nice. imagine what it would go for if that was the winning car. Schumacher belonged on that podium today! Even if it was Schumy and Alonzo 1-2, Alonzo would have still won the championship which was ideal, but Schumi would have gone out on top and I guess Ferrari would have won the constructors as a result. To me, that was the happy compromize that would have made today truly a perfect day! On a side note, IMHO F1 has been on a decline over the past few years, and I see that trend continuing next season with all of the changes. Truly a shame how the FIA is bastardizing the pinnacle of motorsport! Dre... Out! Alias Unknown 10-22-2006, 04:57 PM I think Renault is screwed with Fisi as their #1, although the package is solid Fisi is no #1 driver. Also, although I'm proud that my employer is the new title sponsor of that team, I'm scared to see what that car looks like next year with its new Orange and Blue colour scheme. Its existing scheme makes it one of the nicest looking cars in F1(Along with the McLaren and Ferrari). I think the McLaren team is also pretty screwed loosing Kimi, unfortunately I expect them to be less competitive than they were this year which is a shame. To add insult to injury, they have lost Johnny Walker as a sponsor and have picked up Vodophone. Now the potential exists for them not only to not be competitive, but to not be the best looking car on circut. I'm really not sure that anyone will be able to compete with the combination of Ferrari, Massa and Kimi. Hope we are not in for another season of parade laps!
