View Full Version : ABS Control Module with ESP

Anybody in Canada gotten their ABS control module repaired locally? Anderson Solutions does not fix module's with ESP. Anyone know of a company in Canada that can do this? Its an 02 Audi S4 (B5) w/ESP. These are the fault codes:

Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 389 E
Component and/or Version: ABS/ESP allrad D56
Software Coding: 00000
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
2 Faults Found:
00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
66-10 - Not Matched - Intermittent
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded
35-00 - -

You can't fix module, only replace with identical one.. but looking at your codes , doesn't look like to be your module issue,have you tried to change codes ? could be somewhere wiring issue or you need to reprogram it again to original codes, but you might require to do all the tests to make it work correctly..
Steering angle sensor is located behind the steering wheel where the wiper switch is as well..
Have you done any wiring lately ? or try to program it at all ?

I have not done any reprogramming but I do hope to do that tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix the problems. Also, I think the previous owner switched steering wheels which might have caused the steering angle sensor to get thrown. I'll have to look into the wiring more closely.

that makes sense.. if he did switched steering wheel
you need to do the adaptation.. Ross-tech website has instructions how to complete this..
